This is Sea Princess Azuri and her would-be fiance. I really like this manga, I just wish it would have gotten it's third volume as promised. Instead the ending seemed a bit...haulted. But I love the characters and the main plot, so Yay for Sea Princess Azuri! I have yet to find myself a copy of the first volume though... *searches* The original's a bit large, I had it downsized at Kinkos, but anyone interested in the original let me know, ok? Ouu X3 Why....are they chained together? Ish teh girl unhappy? Anyway, I really like the guy's tail X3 Buuut maybe things like the background need a little more depth? The kelp, for one, seems sorta flat, as it's the only thing without shadows in the picture. X3; Also, you might want to elaborate on the black hole/ cave/ ocean??? behind them a little more....there's not a lot of transition between the color and straight black, so it's hard to tell what it's supposed to be like. As for the characters~..... I like them, lol. I can't really critique them because I don't know much about dolphin/eel anatomy or anything X3;;
My internet won't let me see that deviant's page! I remember seeing it a long time ago and thinking that gallery was quite amazing. Nice fan art, it looks like a cute story. I love the girl's expression, and you're so good with water colors!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
